Got to dive Batu Gila in the end you know, after you guys had moved on. Obvioulsy a deco dive, alas it wasn't that inspiring in terms of fish life.

I did a 4 day liveaboard in the Similans in January with ScubaCat, they were awesome. I've been on a couple of liveaboards now and this was by far the best boat I've been on. The layout was diver-friendly, the meals were great, helpful staff, but the highlight of course was the diving. I booked through Blue Planet Dive Centre in Koh Samui, as I was diving with them over Christmas, and they gave me a disocunted price.
