How easy is it to get work as a dive instructor in Dahab, Egypt?

a experience staff instructor with tech certs too. Thanks

In my experience, if you have multiple teaching languages, then its relatively easy to get work in the Red Sea.

I was there last year and there were plenty of opportunities for instructors.

I know quite a few dive instructors in Dahab, having lived there for two years, and they always have plenty of work. What's more, there is always someone looking for a dive instructor. Of course, speaking more than one language will help, in particular French and German. But instructors that speak only English also have no problem getting work.

Spiderman,

90 % of instructors are freelance in Dahab, and work for two or three different shops. Turn up on the first day, go to all the shops and drop off your cv with your mobile number . Ask if you can DM for free with a class so you can learn the sites.

Poseidon are the main tech school. I don't know anyone there as tech was never my thing.

Go to the Furry Cup Bar at the Blue Beach Hotel. A lot of the local instructors meet there for beers during happy hour 6pm onwards, they might know who needs staff.

I worked for Khaled at BLue Realm Diving at the Blue Beach Hotel. He was great. Aslo heard good things about Penguin - english speaking, the Hilton (upmarket), Poseidon, and Reef 2000 - also english speaking.

Dahab is a great place to spend 6 or 12 months....
