After recently getting a nasty ear infection from too much diving fellow divers told me about ear drops that you can take which protect your ears. I've since asked about them in pharmacies to no avail.

Does anyone know about this product? I know there are antibiotic ear drops for cure but something mild just for protection??

Many thanks!

I use sterile saline spray to clean my ears out after diving. the high salt content in the seas are too much for my poor ears!

After a very bad ear infection I always use 4-5 drops of DRY EAR - Divers Solution. DRY EAR provides drying and cleansing of the external ear canal, ingredients: Glycerin, Boric Acid and FD&C Blue (don't know what that is). After I started using those drops I never had an infection.

I just use drinking water after diving.
Pour some in your ears and wash away the salt or microscopic coral residue.
Never had ear problem due to infection while diving.

Try ear beer. It was secretly develped for cave diving in the Yucatan and has since spread to the mortal plane.
equal parts of Isopropyl alcohol, not rubbing alcohol, hydrogen peroxide and vinegar. It'll keep your ears happy, the only problem is that you'll smell like fish and chips.
