I recently heard that scuba diving in the Galapagos may be coming to an end due to environmental concerns. Has anyone heard of this or know if it is true?

There is diving in Galapagos, the rules have been changed so un-licensed boats can't just operate on temporary permits. Liveaboards are no longer doing 2 week trip to Wolf and Darwin Islands, just 1 week, and that is where the best diving is.

there are still daily dives starting from San Cristóbal and Santa Cruz every day!!!
All local tour operaters are allowed to offer these dives!!!
Cruiseboats are only allowed to follow one activity, meaning only diving or the regular tours!
