Hi there. I was in Amed about two years ago, and the diving was so-so compared to some other diving I did in Bali. I think I dove with White Sand Divers, and they were quite good, although their equipment was a bit older than I'd prefer.

I'd really recommend diving off of Nusa Lambongan - I dove there, and the drift dives were amazing! The current can be quite strong (1-2 knots) but the diving was some of the most beautiful I've seen in a long time.

I dove with Amed Scuba twice. The last time was last year. I did a tour around Bali with a group of Berlin Instructors and divers from Pro Sport and the divemaster Nyoman from Amed Scuba. He is the owner of the shop. I am divemaster as well and know a lot of diveschools. I can only say the whole group and me have been absolutly satisfied with the diving. The places in Amed we have seen were special. I liked the one infront of Blue Moon hotel, Gilli Selang and the temple place very much. But we have also seen Menjangan, Tulamben, Padang Bai and Nusa Penida.
Nyoman was always taking care about everything and he was organizing everything in time with very good briefings and maps from the area. And also the tour was very special for us. We felt more like friends in a Balinese family not only like customers. Nyoman is really nice and charming and tried to find the best for all of us.

Hey! Its one year ago, I dove in Bali. With AMED SCUBA! I did the Padi Open Water Diver. Nyoman, the owner of the dive shop, and his crew were great. I could profit of there big knowledge about diving and the area. I didnt feel like a customer, more than a friend. I felt really safe with Amed Scuba: the dive material was new and in good shape and Nyoman took care of me and everything. He really understand to meet the "customers" demands. I dove in and around Amed (Tulamben, Japanese Wrack...). But Amed Scuba dives (or snorkel) with you also around the whole island, if you want. And they are all always in time. My friend dove this year also with Amed Scuba and she was very satisfied. We recommend Amed Scuba.... they also have pretty good prices. Its worth compare with other dive shops. I will go back next year and I will dive again with Amed Scuba....and I'm really looking forward to this time!

i was diving with amed scuba diving too. I'm an PADI Instructor and know the high rules that you have to have if you would like to be a PADI Dive Center. And one of the best in Bali is amed scuba. I can realy say it, because i was last year for more than 4 months in bali and have seen a lot off diving centers.

Amed Scuba and Nyoman (Indonesian) and Christine (German) - both the owner - are one off the friendliest people i have met in Bali.

That is realy not only a diving center! If you would like to know

I spent a coupple of weeks in oktobre 2007, diving with Nyoman at Amed Scuba. First of all, i was welcomed with great hospitality. Nyoman and his brother helped me finding cheap and great accomadation near to the Dive-shop. The diving was fantastic. The currents are sometimes very strong in this areas, so i felt very well taken care of by Nyoman. He knows the waters very well, he is calm and safe- does not take any necessary chances. Amed Scuba takes very good care of their customers, and plan the dives according to the customers wishes, the wheater, and most inportantly- what is safe. i strongly recomend this Dive-Shop.
