Hi,
Anyone recently dived in Phuket and had a great experience???
Would greatly appreciate a recommendation for a dive centre with small groups and equipment in good condition. My partner and I are going mid Sept and will be based in Hat Surin. Also which dive sites are not to be missed?
Thanks in advance!
Chelle

Surin is quite far from the pier from where the boats depart, so take into account some additional travel time, and also a (small) surcharge for the extra distance.

We'd give you a private guide, how about that for small.

Depending on your experience, I would recommend you a daytrip to the Shark Point area (normally 3 dives in the area), also the Bida islands are really nice diving. Easy and relaxed diving would be a daytrip to Racha Yai, normally 2 dives. Final option would be Racha Noi, either 2 or 3 dives.

Check out Sea Fun Divers . They have their own boat, small groups and they pick you up in Surin without any surcharge.
Dive sites you shouldn't miss are Shark Point & Anemone Reef and Phi Phi island.

Been diving with Sea Fun divers, a couple of times.

Very friendly staff and good pricing!
Small groups a nice boat...definately worth recommending.

Especially since I have been diving around Phuket before with other dive-schools (like Viking Divers) and they are too crowded for my liking!
