Any risk that water flushes out my contact lenses while:
snorkelling?
rafting?

Have never tried either, need to know what to be prepared for...

I have lost a contact lens while diving. I wear RGP (hard) lenses. Once the lens came out and just stuck to may face, so I was able to recover it. Once, it came out early in my dive, and at some point I needed to clear my mask, and out it went.

I've never lost one rafting/kayaking, but I'm sure it could happen. I've lost a lens while rock-climbing as well. Best to be prepared and have a spare set with you.

Hi

I've been diving for years using daily disposable contact lenses and have met many others that do the same without any problem. Alternatively get yourself a presciption mask I guess so don't need to be concerned if you lose a lense or have any other type of issue.

Hope this helps put your mind at rest.
