A new year dawns at the college i work, and one of my tasks is writing up quick references for popular reference books. LP was unfortunately on the list.

So, can anybody sum up LP in 4 sentences as my personal bias of TP getting canned still annoys me (though i understand why, i detest the people responsible, not LP)

If you can only choose one singer only to represent your country or city of origin, who would you choose?
Please name your country, languages, & the name of your singer of choice. Perhaps a link also...

Hong Kong - Cantonese/Mandarin - Jackey Cheung Hok Yau

Rustling the fig leaves of Wikipedia anonymity.

Great overview of a topic that's been in the news lately, and a heartwarming validation that, for all its faults, a well-managed Wiki is to media what democracy is to politics.

please explain why you find his movies entertaining.

I had never seen any. I rented Life's a miracle yesterday. It's grotesque, circus-like, not funny in the slightest. It bored me to tears.
I stopped after 1.20, i couldn't take it anymore and it last for 2.15 or something!
are they all like that?!

You don't know what you've got 'till it's gone. How sharp was that dude? What a voice.

I just saw him belting out - Frank's - That's Life on a Dame Edna Everage Spectacular.

Is there anything any of you can suggest. There seems to be a gap in the traffic when it comes to a good Teutonic sitcom.

Is there a Germanic equivalent of say Basil and Manuel in Fawlty Towers? Or Norm and the Coach in Cheers?

Khajuraho a place once well-known for Khajoor (dates) trees. Later periods broom making cottage industries flattened all the trees to flourish this business. Now it is very hard to find date tree in Khajuraho. Nearly 150kms from Jhansi railway station and 650kms from New Delhi (India) is also renowned for 25 mystery structures. Who are the your favorite fish out of water castings ?
Tom Cruise as LeStat in Interview with the Vampire
Colin Farrell as Alexander the Great
Not miscasting in itself but Jessica Alba and Ioan Gruffudd's on screen chemistry on fantastic four is erm, invisible.
I know I tend to equate miscasting to hair and a bottle of bleach, so would like to see other examples.

Also, for your choiced examples, who would have been better ?
