Reuben likes the Wayans Bros. movie, Little Man

Ironically, Reuben resents R. Kelly's "Little Man" defense. He finds it an offensive defense.

I found this mind blowing flash animation.
You have to wait a few seconds before it starts.
But if I post this here, its because I wonder if someone has any idea what that crazy music at the end is ?

I had one messing with my head when I went to bed. When I woke up this morning it was still there. What happens when you're asleep? Does it go on pause or just plods along on high rotation?

Well they just set this one up for a fall with all the hype... "scariest film since...", "the new Pan's labyrinth" etc.

Instantly forgettable film, predicable, slow, cheap scares & a spectacularly shitty ending.

Not worth spending cinema money on...

Just wondering if Peter Weir raises any emotions. He's not a prolific director, but I'd be curious to hear any general comments regarding his body of work.

As a reminder...

  1. Master and Commander: The Far Side of the World (2003)
  2. The Truman Show (1998)
  3. Fearless (1993)
  4. Green Card (1990)
  5. Dead Poets Society (1989)
  6. The Mosquito Coast (1986)
  7. Witness (1985)
  8. The Year of Living Dangerously (1982)
  9. Gallipoli (1981)
  10. The Last Wave (1977)
  11. Picnic at Hanging Rock (1975)

Cheers,
Terry

The other day on EastEnders , (the episode where you find out Roxy's sister had a baby when she was a girl) there was a beautiful song on as they switched between three different dialogs . It was a female vocalist and the song was a jazz sort of sound. My hearing isn't the best but one of the lines that repeated seemingly was " like rain in a desert..." Any ideas? I googled just that phrase and there was an onslaught of hits. Any leads would be appreciated!

"I am legend" - the Hollywood version of "28 days later" but not done anywhere near as well.

It was like they took the script from 28 days later, picked another city, changed the infected a bit - removed the nastiness of the human element from "28" script & then finished it off with godbothering.

& the 'plot' had holes that would make Swiss cheese jealous.

Snooooze...
