no, I had not. interesting enough, I just watched catch a fire the other day with tim robbins on the life of patrick chamusso. at least three scenes that I can remember were prisoners communicating through some damn impressive whistling and perhaps the root of now wanting to know all things whistling.

I'm interested in whistling because I whistle quite a lot.

are you familer with andrew bird? I saw him live last fall and you would have thought for sure it had to be a recording but man...that guy can whistle.
