The rules were set out in #65. The idea is to go round the world in one direction, starting in Sweden. Sydney is a few thousand miles west of Peru and we are travelling eastwards. We could continue to:

My feeling was that #65 overshot the goal, so therefore in this round we failed, as we did last time.

Or we could see if we could get back to Sweden in two circumnavigations, having already gone eastwards Sweden - South America - Australia and now back to South America.

I think the "stopover" in Sydney was just a mistake. We were well on our way to Sweden from northern S America, so there was no reason to backtrack. Just ignore Sydney and keep going from somewhere else beginning with S between Peru and Sweden.

Phew!! I'm glad you admitted your mistake ryb.
My first thought upon making the transition from comatose to sleepy stupour this morning was. --"Shit! --- Sydney, Nova Scotia. The place that mis-guided Pomgolians sometimes end up in."

Ubeda, Spain.

All we have to do now is find a 'W' 'X' and 'Y' between Valencia and all the 'Z's in the Netherlands.

Spain and France aren't big on W's. I've got a good X.
