- The Discovery of Heaven

- Dogma (Matt Damon and Ben Affleck as angels, Alanis Morissette as God.)
My favorite moment in Z is one one of the officer-conspirators is arrested and a reporter asks him if he would compare his situation to that of Dreyfus. He sputters: "Dreyfus was guilty!"
- All This and Heaven Too.- 1940 One of the few films that I remember in which Bette Davis played a "good" character.
Vinny #3750 I haven't seen that one. Was Bette Davis's character 'good' or 'bad'?

Good. That's why I mentioned it. She's a waitress in a café in the middle of nowhere who has dreams of getting away. Leslie Howard, poet, stops by, as does Humphrey Bogart, escaped mad dog killer Duke Mantee. It's pretty stagey but worth seeing. Bogart's first film appearance; he had played the part on Broadway.
