RE: screening tonight at the Z householdInterest forums / Culture Vultures
Interested to hear results; I've wanted to see 3:10 for a while, even though it's got that cock Crowe in it.
3:10 to Yuma and He Was a Quiet Man. Both look ok, I don't usually get in to Westerns but since the Mr was interested we hired Yuma. Full report tonight or in the morning. | 1
He wasn't bad in "Master & Commander". Didn't really like "Gladiator" much. He's better than Tom Cruise though. | 2
Havent seen Queit Man, but 3:10 was excellent, Christian Bale is one of the best actors of this generation. | 3
I've watched 3:10 to Yuma a couple times now, and I'm still enthralled, and may watch it again because I bought the DVD. And I agree with TP's assesment of Christian Bale's performance. Have you seen No Country For Old Men? | 4
Agree with #6 | 5 | |
Only seen half of it so far. It's good, but I can't quite see why people have raved about it so much. Javier Badam does it well. | 6
its vastly overrated. but its a coen bros so its compulsory for the critics to suck their dicks 3.10 was pretty good, i just didnt believe in the ending. | 7
