Re - the sandy soggy stuff.

2 recent-ish cases of movie quicksand come to mind

1. Cutthroat Island - Matthew Modine fell in quicksand, but was rescued &, in fact Genna Davis, director hubbt Remmy Harlin - the whole thing, sinking deeper & deeper in la merde - & was never really rescued

2. the Mummy - the old boy aviator dies with a smile on his face at the controls of his Sopwith Camel & the plane sinks into the quicksand

Fiendish stuff.

And will never forget it

I had to - it was a bit like a car crash - you couldn't believe how shocking it was

It says something about Hollywood that once it got the green light - amazing how that happened in the first place - no one stopped it before they started spending the momeny

The script was awful - surely when it's on paper you must realise?

I should add I saw it on the tele - didn't pay at the movies..
