There were two Thunderbirds movies with the puppets - Thunderbirds Are Go and Thunderbird Six. Both are available on Region 2 DVD, but I did see both of them when they were released into the cinema back in the 1960's...

I find British TV's obsession with puppets just fascinating.
X Men and xXx have already been used in earlier sequences. But, er, I can't think of anything else... Xanadu was used, too.

Tarantino mentioned Thunderbirds Are Go in his additions to the script for Crimson Tide, but Gerry Anderson is still making programmes for television over here and has done a CGI version of Captain Scarlet that's run to at least 2 series so far. His first live action movie has just been remastered for DVD - Doppelganger/Journey To The Far Side Of The Sun (the title changed as it was released around the world. Sorry, used to write about movies a few years ago...
