I would link to it but I can't figure it out.

two cents and then some...

Ah Yes, quiet riot...short balding man from long island past his prime becomes instant riock star due to a Slade cover that was played on what seemed like an endless loop on MTV iaround 183/84. Truly dreadful stuff. Dubrow was sort of a low rent Ronnie james dio - but had zero cred.

"two cents and then some..."

well, and that's the good side of getting older - with inflation, my two cents is now a dime or so

I remember you. Where have you been for so long? And yes, Clark is still around...mostly on WOS (at least of the branches I read).

Was this Dubrow guy gay? I remember, about 10 years ago, a frontman of one of the early 80s hair bands came out, but I can't remember who it was. Maybe the guy from Judas Priest?

Hiya Veggie, I remember you too - how've you been? - California, right? affected by the fires at all?

was it Judas Priest? big stir at the time, I do remember that - silliness, like metal would be in some all hetero bubble

Yup, clark's still around. You can find him on WOS.

Rob Halford of Judas Priest did come out. That was a while back. I haven't heard of any others though.

No, fires haven't been a problem. Some extra air pollution is all.
