John Cleese---Monty Python

Why did he not appear and perform with his old colleagues at the memorial Concert for George Harrison? The only clue on the DVD is Palin quickly remarking for the camera backstage that 'John won't work anymore." And yet, a cursory glance at Cleese's Wiki reveals a rather healthy string of his 'solo' appearances here and there.....
