I have started a petition for the British Government to issue a passport design which gives a British person's nationality.
Please see: http://www.freewebs.com/britishpassports</a>

You're going to have to explain the difference between a Nationality and Citizenship to me. AFAIK they are the same thing. Though I'm neither British, nor a lawyer...

This is obviously an issue you feel strongly about, but that statement is pretty ridiculous.
The rest of the world isn't laughing; the rest of the world doesn't care.

By "rest of the world" you mean every single person in the world other than the OP, right clark?

If you say so.
I think it's pretty obvious that I don't mean that literally.
But if you want to believe that the UK is "the laughing stock of the world" because of the wording in its passports, that's cool.
I'll choose to assume most people aren't laughing and don't care.

Well I didn't mean that clark. I meant that people from the UK (other than the OP, who appears to have issues) don't care either

ah...sorry about that, I misunderstood you.
I had some anal person the other day take exception to a general "the rest of the world" phrase I used, asking did I mean every single person in the world other than me and did I feel qualified to speak for them? She was totally serious too.
