Between Wed-Fri, I reckon I can see 2 or 3, maybe 4 movies that will be my choice as the missus won't be there.

All I can think of is maybe In Bruges.

What can YOU suggest ?

I saw In Bruges last week in Chile (after local cinemas in O-slow, No-way decided against showing it there) and it's a very strange film, part comedy and partly quite violent. All in all an interesting flick.

Yeah, I think I'll give it a go.

3

Saw JCVD recently and really liked it.

4

Baader-Meinhof Komplex

5

I loved "In Bruges" absolutely hilarious black humour.

6

In Bruges will definitely be tomorrow. I actually surprised myself tonight by sitting through, and quite enjoying, Sweeny Todd.

7

Sweeney Todd was great, although it wasn't at all what I'd expected! In the beginning I thought "oh no, it's a musical!" yet after a while I found myself enjoying it thoroughly!

8

check out OldBoy
its a Korean film, lots of crazy counter inteligence stuff in there

9

My reaction was pretty much the same as 8. It looks fabulous, typical Tim Burton, although I'd still have preferred it NOT to have been a musical. Couldnm't get In Bruges, so now watching Into The Wild....

10

"Into the wild" is great!

I love "Oldboy" but it's a far cry from ST!

11

op, try the visitors

Yeah, I liked Into The Wild. I think your opinion of him may differ depending on if you're a parent or not though. At times, I found his sisters monologue a bit too much and a bit wordy, but a good flick nonetheless. Most of the scenery is what I hope America is really like.

what is ST
oh, ok Sweeny Todd, good movie
Into the Wild was a good flick also
who never thought about doing what this kid did, he just had the nuggets to do it(I guess there are tons of hippies who actually have done this, but hippies are social animals and this guy was pretty anti social)

14

never mind, not anti social, scared of woman(which is the root cause to his probs), thats what I ment

The Smiths Girl Afraid comes to mind

15

this guy was pretty anti social

I dunno, he seemed to get along amaaaazingly well with everybody he met in the film ..

16

Scared of woman ? Is that something you know, or just assumed from the film ?

17

his hippy friends the man and woman, I kind of got the impression that he had a problem with woman, not as friends, as lovers

its been a while since Ive seen the film, but thats what I remember taking away from the film
