We quite enjoyed the first couple Bourne flix. But this latest third seemed over-rated to us. Seems it just set some sorta' opening weekend box office record. But don't let that fool you. Its OK, but just. IMhO: Two and a half stars (not even worth adding the hyphens for). I am done.

I liked all three, including this one.
The fight scenes in all three movies are gritty and realistic, even when the plot and invincibility of the hero strays into complete fantasyland.
Escapist froth to be sure, but still entertaining, the time passes quickly.
I admit though that taking Matt Damon seriously has become much harder since his wooden appearance in Team America.
Matt Damon.

is this a reverse psychology thing, op?
no matter what, i will still go see this movie....
i wonder what d people expect these days when they go for a movie? documentary-like realistic piece of art etc?

The hand held camera extreme closeups made me crazy. Awful. I couldn't get involved in the movie, I kept being the cameraman.
It was like he was balancing the camera on his knee while texting a message with his other hand. Bleh!
What worked for me was the score/soundtrack. It certainly wasn't the story. There wasn't one.
I liked the movie. It was not as good as the first, but better than the second. I have to agree with #3 about the camera work, but it did not bother me quite as much. In certain scenes, it added to the suspense, but it was also used when it should not have been.
Box office regrettably is tracked in overall $ rather than number of tickets sold. And prices just went up this summer (over $10 here). So all this summer's hits are record setting blockbusters!
Not a terrible movie, hardly a great one. Matt Damon seems to be a slightly better actor than years ago, when he spent all his time trying to be cute.
