any good movies?

in the past 1.5 year i've watched about 2-3 movies and am a bit out-dated. have there been any good (in English) movies recently that are worthwhile?
to give a perspective i saw pirates of the carribean last year (bad) and about 2 weeks ago an inconvenient truth (good) and harry potter (dull)...any suggestions?
