Hi again!
I just read on a comment that if you are to work legally in the diving buisness in Fiji you have to be at instructor level? is this accurate?? I'd like to work as a dive master in Fiji so it's quite important for me to know! obviously...

Hi everybody!
We're in desperate need of some good advice!!
Me and a buddy of mine are planning to come to Fiji in April '08 to work as divemasters on one of the islands but we have heard so many contradictory oppinions on the diving situation down there we dont know what to expect?! We are hoping to be able to work on the islands for about 6 months...
-What are the opportunities for us getting a job as divemasters in Fiji?? What should we do?
-Is it monopolized by "awesome adventures Fiji" so that…
Hello everyone. My wife and I (both over 50 - into snorkeling - also have PADI tickets , nice beaches, swaying palm trees, nice (not basic) beach hut type accommodation and good food (- not too fussy then!!) will have 4 full days (3 nights - early arrival, late departure flights) early November. Can anyone suggest a suitable romantic place to stay either on main island or smaller island easily (and reliably) accessible? Any suggestions would be most welcome. many thanks
hi guys,
from ur travel experiences......where would you go if you had a choice.
i get a free stop, and aghhhhh i cant decide!! please give me ur thoughts! :)
I've just spent over a month visiting various resorts and villages in the Yasawas and had a great time. The islands are beautiful and the villagers friendly. Part of why I had such a good time is because I sailed there on my own boat and did not rely on a packaged trip put together by Awesome Adventures.
Awesome Adventures has a monopoly on these islands like I have never witnessed anywhere else. They have NO competition which means you see the Yasawas the way they want you to see them. With…
Did anyone here lose money betting against this place?

Hi All,
We are heading on a big family holiday next week (there's 10 of us - 4 kids) and staying at the Warwick. I have been scanning thru the TT posts but have been unable to find answers to my questions in the limited time that I have (one newborn+one three year old - doesn't give you much time!)
Firstly.. what would you suggest would be some kid friendly activities - the kids are ranging in age from say 18 months to almost 4 years - and then there's bubs! I have heard that the railway may be…
Hello,
I'll be in Fiji in mid November, and I'm making my final decision on where I would like to get my Open Water certification. It is between diving with Ra Divers at VoliVoli beach, or with Reef Safari at either Mantaray or South Seas.
Currently in last place is South Seas, which I hear has a frat-party like atmosphere.
I'd like a place that's easy to meet other people (other solo backpakers). I'd like to have a few beers and a fairly relaxed night life, but I don't want to feel like I'm on a…
Hi everyone
My boyfriend and I are going to Vanuatu on 20th October for 2 weeks. We plan to visit Tanna and Santo.Given that the domestic airfares are pricey we are thinking about getting the 'Vanuatu Pass'...
Is this pass still available? If yes how much does it cost and where to purchase it?
I've tried to go on 'Vanair' website but it is down at present, hence not helpful.
Any other tips would be very much appreciated
Michelle
