Hi all,
Have received this message from Crossie, who has now returned to Niue after his cycling tour to the Roff of The World.
He sends his best wishes to all, and would like to be back here as "Crossie", but..
"I just went on to the TT after many months of travel. It seems I may have been struck off because my emails have gone unanswered by their adjudication committee. Did I offend? Were my views too political or indeed politically incorrect? Did I cuss too much? Was I using the TT for political…
Have just got back from 16 days in New Ireland, New Britain & Milne Bay areas. Prior to leaving Oz I noticed my internal flights had all been charged twice (about $745.00 extra) and tried to contact Air Ng via their Australian phone number but they could not help as the flights had been booked via internet and I would have to contact Air NG in Port Moresby. Made the call and they said they were aware of the problem and they had other passengers affected also. When asked why they hadn't refunded…
Has anyone stayed at this resort? How's the snorkelling/accommodation/food? Any other recommendations for bungalows w/ private bath nice location (beach and snorkelling) and good food on Tongatapu? Not really into Fafa foofoo style or price.
Flying in to Nadi in a week or so, hoping for some advice on where to go. My hubbie and i have have about a week there, and one night will have to be near Nadi to account for an early a.m. flight out. Everything I've read about Nadi so far screams "don't stay there!", and I haven't seen many reviews on the hostels and other stays in the city. As for the bulk of our stay, we don't generally like resorts, and have a tight budget because of long travel plans through 2008, but we love good food…

We stayed at a private resort consisting of 5 bungalows owned by an Aust couple. We were the only people there and had 5 staff at out disposal. We ate lobster 2 nights, fish a couple of nights, the best curry I have ever had and various…
Bula,
My boyfriend and I will be spending 6 days in Fiji! Arriving at Fiji's Nadi international airport at 2:35PM (Thu 17 January)
We would prefer to leave Nadi immediately and stay our first night on an island. Would it be realistic to go by ferry to Yasawas or Vanua levu the same day?
Which of these island is most recommendable? We want to spend romantic, lazy days, go snorkling, maybe fishing.
Where can we find more information (Timetables/price) on ferries? If we need to spend one night in Nadi…

...I spent nearly one, fantastic month in Samoa and before I took off I met a lot of useful info from TT travellers and it would be selfish if I didn't share my experiences with those who are about to start out to Samoa. Thank you all who helped me.
I flew with Polynesian Blue. Both flights went smooth but unfortunately the return flight back Sydneybound was accompanied by a small incident which left me with a bitter taste on my tongue. More below.
I wasn't on a tight budget but didn't want blow…
