...im sorry for still the same or similar inquiring posts about samoa. Since i started to gather info ive learned its meaningless to trust only one source (eg.guide book), which can only crack up the particular destination or provide biased and partial information...
In order for me to clarify some inconsistency and sort my itinerary im having more questions:
1) Has anyone stayed in Uafato Village? Is it really worth of its nature and interaction with villagers there? What is the cost of the accomodation there? I found different rates. As i found out the pick is a truck from Apia, right?
2) I still hover between Manono island and Apolima. Some guides on the Internet write the island up but i found mostly negative opinions about hosts being rude and ripping guests off etc. I was thinking about Manono staying in Sunset View Fales, but i might rule the whole island out, if necessary...
3) Due to my itch for snorkeling and snaping some trivial photos of the paradise :-] Im planning on staying in two favourit spots in Lalomanu and Manase: Which ones vere more favorable for you? Considering cost, staff, meals, snorkeling and quality of (open) fale...?
On Lalomanu: Taufua vs. Litia Sini's
On Manase: Vacation beach fales vs. Tanu beach fale
As im about to prebook around 2 nights in only one fale resort of each spot and I am courious about the reasonable price of open fale (PP inlc. meal) and through what subject you prebook your stay...
4) Namua island - how to get there? Is the ferry from the village Satitoa? Reportedly ill be supposed to get to a flagpole and wave with it in order to call the resort's attention...
thats all for now:]
thank you guys

Haven't been.

I would go.

Either one is a good option... Litias is more expensive... more subdued.

Again, both are fine... Tanu's can be very busy and impersonal.

Make sure you are booking DIRECTLY through the beach fale and not a "middleman" (like Green Turtle tours)... You'll end up paying way too much. It is very easy just to ring up the beach fales from Apia. You can even book some of them on line. Taufua, Litia's have email for sure. Google for websites.

Exactly as you said!
thank you islandboi, you are the security...thanks
well do you regard Samoa Hotels Association as a mediator or "middleman" in bookings or the prices may be same as directly from Litia Sini's? The reason being unfortunately i have not found via Google a direct email (only phone) to the resort to check it so the question is that.
Anyway ill probably stop by on the spot or call while in Samoa.
Have you visited either of the islands Apolima or Manono? just curious...
