low priced diving in Fiji?

What would be the best parts of which islands, and specific dive operations for the diver on a low budget?

Not done these yet, but spent Saturday checking out a few that are easy to get to from the Denaru/Nadi area. To keep costs down you need to limit travel and accomodation.
Amunuca Island.
Drift dive, swim through, wall dive, lunch, transfers, gear, 2 tanks F$270 from Nadi area (day trip).

Bounty Island. Wreck and B26.
Robinson Cruisoe Island.

We had cheap diving in Taveuni (rainbow reef) and Kadavu (Astrolabe Reef) in 1998. We found dive resorts on the southeast side of Kadavu (Reece's Place and Albert's Place) to be far more reasonable than those on the northwest side.

see kadavu, it's not budget to get there but it's not so busy and an amazing place! Dive Kadavu.
