Hi there
We have a week in Vanuatu in early October with a 12 year old boy and 14 year old girl. We are looking for somewhere authentic to stay - where we can meet the locals and experience the culture. Not bothered about fancy and hate resorts but would like clean and ideally with a pool. We all dive/snorkel and love cycling. Any suggestions welcome?

I can recommend Tradewinds - a small place with a pool and laundry facilities, about a 10 minute walk from downtown Villa. They have a nice 2 bedroom accommodation with a kitchen area if you want to self cater. It is located on the outskirts of Villa, near a local village like complex, where you would be able to interact with the locals.
