budget accom for couple on mainland

Hi,
I may be travelling to Fiji several times for periods of aprox 10 days. Can anyone recommend budget accom on the main island - near Suva or Nausori preferably, for a couple?

Depends whether you want to be near the city centre (although Nausori isn't). Is Raintree Lodge too far out? On a bus route, they had rooms with kitchen facilities that looked ok when we were there a few years back.

Right in the center of Suva is the South Seas Hotel. They have only one room with private facilities (a separate bungalow in the back garden) and also a kitchen you can use.
