Hi guys,

I am heading down to the South Pacific in January/February on what will be mostly a photo trip. I only have 2 days on Viti Levu (Fiji) and was thinking of spending both either on the northern half of the island or the southern portion. More precisely, I am looking at a Koronyatu-Nausori-Nananu-i-Ra itinerary or Natadola-Coral Coast-Sigatoka Dunes-Colo-i-Suva-Namosi itinerary.

Any recommendations as far as where the photo opps would be best? I do a bit of everything (landscape, people, fauna/flora, etc.)

Thanks very much for your input!

The latter is scenic but touristy

Your second one is extensive enough that you will have plenty of different photo ops.
If you manage to cram all that into 2 days, that is!
I would still try to add the old Tongan fort near Sigatoka.

My info & thoughts:
on East-Indonesia.info: Indonesia, Maluku, West Papua, Raja Ampat & Indonesian Visas
on Thorn Tree: Seeing Orangutans, Kalimantan, Kiribati & Tuvalu

My partner is a local land owner on the coral coast, there is a famous waterfall on his land with loads of photo opportunities as you have to walk through the forest/jungle to get to it.

PM me if you are interested
