Hi everyone!
I am willing to go to Fiji for the last 2 weeks of December. I have heard is not the best time, as there are lots of rain and cyclones.
Has anyone been there on wet season? Specially in December? Is it that bad or is just matter of luck (or bad luck)? :-) Thanks in advance!

December is wet season. In January this year the rain caused heavy flooding. Although not occurring for some years , it is also cyclone season.

The other problem at the end of December is Southern hemisphere school holidays - many Australians and New Zealanders travel at this time.

Ask me about the Island Builders of the Pacific.

Was there Christmas week (Savusavu & Taveuni) and it rained and rained and rained. We dived anyway but it ruined some of the visibility and most of our topside adventures. I understand May is a great month.
