I really hope this question hasn't already been asked, i've tryed looking but i find not quite clear :-)

I have nine days to spend in the Yasawa Islands, and plan only to vist 3-4 resorts and will not be hopping everyday, i had hoped to buy the 7day pass but i now realize that might not work out, Can i buy extra days? I plan on booking my own accomodation, blue lagoon, mantaray, octopussy and Maybe one more, it would sux if they were fully booked if i got the combo pass!!!
thanks in advance for any replies

I was taking to a dude who came back from Fiji last month and you don't need to buy a pass at all, you can just pay for each leg of the journey as you go. They will try to sell you passes because they make more money out of them but it is cheaper (I don't know about easier) to buy each stage as you go.

I will be in Fiji August, I plan to take the resort ferry out to my first island for sake of ease, but after that I will be buying each stage as I go.

Deal direct with the resorts online for your bookings (that way you'll ensure you can get the days you want) and buy each leg of the transfers as you go. You can pay on the boat. I'd recommend you go to the furthest point first - of the resorts you name that would be Blue Lagoon, and work your way back in. The fare from Denarau to Blue Lagoon (2009 price) is FJ$140.

thanks for the replies, Think I will pay each leg as I go, however if I do it that way, I will need alot of fiji dollars......right? What is the best way to carry say $2000NZD? ill be spending one night in nadi first and am not sure if I can get to much money $fiji$ out of the ATM before i go?

You can pay on the Flyer with credit card - much better than carrying lots of cash. Blue Lagoon Beach Resort & Octopus take CC also, (bar tab etc is charged to your room & paid at end of stay) not sure about some of the smaller resorts.
