Hi guys,
I found itercity buses running between Queenstown and Te Anau. the timetable for Queenstown-Te Anau-Queenstown is suitable for a daytrip. (arrival in te anau 9:30 and departure at 17:05).
I wanna ask is it worth a day trip in te anau if my time is limited and permitting only a day trip? can see essential things there? time is enough?
thx

Student Visa

Hi All,

It's been my dream to fly out to New Zealand and live there with my family. I wish to start this with Student Visa. Please help me understand how this works. I am from Philippines, English is not my first language so please bear with me.

  1. Is there a Student Visa for a 3-month course?
  2. Will it (3-month course Student visa) allow me to work, at lease the 20hrs/wk?
  3. After 3 months, what should I do to stay in NZ and get a full time job?

Any advice will be highly appreciated. Thanks.

Hi everyone

I'm looking to travel by sea to Singapore from Darwin Australia. I've heard Toll run a barge from Darwin to East Dili East Timor, then onto Singapore.

Has anyone achieved this trip? It's to carry on the rail journey and cover Asia, Trans Siberian and European rail networks.

Any options considered. Looking at May 2018

Hi all,
Looking here for some fresh advice. I did already South Island and this time focus in North Island. Can I get a suggest Itinerary ? I am doing this in 10 days - if distance is not a killer, I will enjoy driving stoping and sucking great scenery outdoors, I love great food and will be doing this trip as solo female traveller.

Departing from Auckland, not too worry about budget. What wouldn't you miss in North Island?

Someone recommend this about one year ago for 12 days trip:

Hi All

We are currently planning a trip first to NZ and then to Australia, we will fly over approximately mid-march 2018. Around Auz, we plan to embark on an ultimate roadtrip, buying our own campervan driving a huge circuit around the country, over around 3 months, returning home around mid-June 2018.

Now we must consider the impact of Jellyfish on our enjoyment of the sea, after reading extensively it appears stinger suits are recommend year round. However the appearance of jellyfish are…

Have just booked flight into Perth, campervan for two weeks to explore W.A. then four days on the Indian Pacific train, leaving Adelaide on the 4th April.
Help with recommended camp sites, places to visit etc.
All tips or enquiries welcome.

Hi all, we are planning a roadtrip by RV in Australia... do you guys think it's a doable plan to go from Sydney to Townsville (South of Cairns) along the coast and back via the Great Inland Road? We have a good 4 weeks to do so...

Working Holiday

Hi all,

I'm going to be spending the first three months of 2018 in New Zealand (primarily Wellington) on a job exchange with my company based in the UK. I'm planning to spend some time travelling after the exchange and during weekends throughout.

I'm really keen for my girlfriend to join me for the entire time. She has a background in environmental conservation and outreach and is hoping to find volunteering opportunities where she can develop and use her skills during the week and have…
