Hello,

So there are a few questions in the visa application which I'm not sure what to answer to:

  1. Does the parent or person who has legal custody of the applicant have the sole legal right to determine where the applicant will live or to remove them from their usual country of residence?

  2. Will a parent or person who has custody of the applicant stay with them in Australia for the duration of stay or until the applicant turns 18?

  3. Has a parent or person who has custody…

The Grampians National Park in West Central Victoria over the last 10 years has had a number of disasters - almost all the park has been burned in bush fires although the forest has recovered now and there are few signs of the fires .The town of Halls Gap was flooded some years ago. Visitors who remember Halls Gap as a somewhat rustic small settlement may taken aback at the way it has grown and the way tourism and tourism related development and commercialization has expanded . But one thing…

Hello,

I have applied for my first WHV for Australia and have been approved, I am from the UK.

In one of the questions it asked whether I have lived outside the UK for more than 3 months. I have visited Spain(6 weeks), India (5 weeks), China (4 weeks) and Thailand (4 weeks) consecutively.

I went to state this on my form, however the next part asked me "Which country you have visted for more than 3 months". Since I have not been in 1 country for more than 3 months I left it blank.

I have had…

Hey guys - I have a Bhutanese friend who I met when he was studying abroad in the small California town I lived in. Apparently 2018 is the 15 year anniversary of relations between OZ and Bhutan, and as such there are kinds of special discounts on hotels/visa fees/airfares/etc.

He contacted me asking if I could connect him with someone in Australia's travel industry to help promote his wife's travel company, but all of my Australian friends are in mining/engineering/farming. Any ideas? None…

Hi there
I'm planning on visiting Oz in August to visit my friend who lives in Sydney. I have been poring through books and websites and have put together the following itinerary (aiming to do as much by public transport/tours as poss, but will be hiring a car to drive between Alice and Uluru). Am keen to get thoughts whether it's do-able!

Background: two of us, based in Oxford UK, both like foodie stuff, wine, general sightseeing and not massive outdoorsy types (we like it, but would like to go…

We are coming to NZ for 5 weeks next week, will be traveling and a bit of tramping around the north and south island. Since we are leaving behind two very elderly parents back home- with caretaker- we still want to be connected as much as possible just in an event of an emergency...

While we won't be doing any Great Walks, we will be trekking the Humphridge Track and doing day walks in various places. I understand that in some areas of the South Island (Milford Sound, for example, as well as…

Greetings All,

My partner and I plan on visiting Port Arthur and would love to do some hikes on the Tasman Peninsula. I've looked on the Parks website and the Cape Hauy 4 hour track looks nice and then there's the much shorter Waterfall bay trail. Does anyone have any experience with these two hikes? Any recommendations or insight to share?

We are mostly interested in the scenery when it comes to choosing a hike and we'd like to be able to manage the hiking in conjunction with a day trip to…
