I was hoping someone may have had some experience with taking a package trip from Oz to wanaka for around 7 days. I have done some research myself with Ski Maxx etc, and they all seem pretty competitive. it seems around $1000-1200 pp for flights ex syd/bris, 7 nights accomm, lift tickets and car hire for a few days.
I also am keen to also try some fly fishing, so does anyone know of a company who might incorporate other activities into their packages?

Unless I am mistaken (has been known to happen) Ski Maxx is the snow holidays entity for Qantas Holidays and I am pretty sure I have seen fly fishing packages for NZ, Canada etc... Go past your local travel agent and grab a Qantas Holidays brochure and see what they have. Be sure to check on the closed seasons for fish in NZ as well.
