Why there're still many people out there yelling at others by some ethnic slurs
Why can't they grow up and get a life
Is Australia a racist nation?

Is Australia a racist nation?
Yes, of course we are and we are the only country in the whole world that is - no other country lowers themselves to such juvenile behaviour.
OP - poor attempt at trolling and really shows why you should grow up and get a life.

Seriously, a lot of people say it does not happen, but as an Asian guy here in Aust, I can tell you it happens.
A lot of things happen, that a lot of people don't want to open their eyes to.
If its not shouting at the person on the street, its by car pax who scream out the window.
If its not car pax... its people hooting their car horn for no reason.
If its not all the above, some people see Asians as a fair target to ask money from.
If its not the above, its one twit asking if I can speak English! Do I say yes, I can speak English or as I usually do, (which might be wrong), (depends on who's asking), play the idgit.

Sugoi, maybe not so in Mel, but in back water Adelaide, it happens.
Don't generalise, OP, but to a certain extent, a certain number of the population in Aust are racist, or will at least stoop to racial slurs.
Unless you are the "it", you just don't know.
Lots of those who go out to in a way harass Asians, will not do it to an Aussie.

Daycat - of course we are the same as every other country around - it is human nature to 'attack' others differences. You may get comments about your nationality we get the stares, the loud talking, the people who talk to my son as if he is a 2yo and the over-the-top be nice to the disabled. The thing is you learn to live with it and learn how to nicely put others back in their place.

as I said before it is a poor attempt at trolling.
OP if you are going to troll at least be imaginative and interesting.

Now when my two oldest children were very young and i would struggle up the train station steps with the pram and bub in arm plus toddler climbing the stairs, or even on a bus, it was an Asian person each time who would help me who could speak little english. So hats off to them :)
I believe when foreigners come to our country they do so because they love the Australian way of life and don't want to change it.
