i'm 18, traveling to NZ for the first time and i'm planning on working at one of the mountains down there [already got the working holiday visa and such]. just wondering if you guys could give me some tips on mt ruapheu? i've already looked at their website, and i assume whakapapa is a bit larger seeing the maps and all. however, i asked about the resorts on a different forum [totally different website and everything] and they suggested i visit turoa instead? anyone been to both who might know some more helpful tips? i mean, i'll be sure to check out both mountains while i'm there, but for working purposes?
