despiote being described as a "senior WA health official", I couldn't find mention of any "official status" other than being a professor at Curtin Uni. Another Curtin Uni professor disagrees.

Mike Daube isn't a real knobend academic type.

He made his name as CEO of the Cancer Council of WA and Director General of the WA Health Dept.

Basically he's an anti ciggie man and has made the move from mister to professor, and from public service to the academy, via an honorary doctorate.

I don't rate this move.
