Just to let you know that in a few moments I will be driving to the local shops and bank, then accompanying my mum to the doctor and then swimming through some water. In the late afternoon I will be transported by train to Airport - Domestic, before flying to Malb'n where I shall sojourn in Yarraville before awakening in that foreign land, being driven to South Melbourne for a full day meeting. Afterwards I shall take a taxi back to Tullamarine before once again winging back to Sydney (different airline) and returning home.
is there no end to the excitement of travel?
I think you need to add a trip by bus and ferry to complete the transport options. And how can you possibly visit Melbourne and not go on a tram?

There's a ferry across the Yarra. You can travel Williamstown. Which is a lovely little village.

There's also a bicycle punt from Newport to Port Melbourne if you want to get really funky. Sorry no time for bolds...
Thanks for the travel tips.
Quote

If you go to Yarraville, you should have a look at Footiscray..

In a kinder, gentler world I would. However, as much as I have loved previous visits, this time I arrive about 9pm and etd is 8am. Not much time for seeing all that The 'scray has to offer!

Shouldn't 'train' and 'Airport - Domestic' be in bold too! ;)

Possibly. But this time I just stuck to doing words!
Oh how I pine for those other transport options....and I think the bicycle punt is a VERY atractive proposition.
spen: at least the forecast for Malb'n is much hotter than Sydney (which is basking in PERFECT autumn weather - glorious) , then a cool change and showers tomorrow afernoon. That's the beauty of St Petersburg.
