Hi everyone,
I'm going on a short roadtrip with my mate from Chile to camp, surf and fish. We'll leave Newy on Dec23 trying to arrive Byron the 30th. We want two hit 1 or 2 spots in between to camp, surf and fish. A left point would be ideal since I'm a goofy who hasn't surfed for a while.
What do you reckon? Cheers
I can't swear that they are left points, but Crescent Head north of Port Macquarie, and Angourie Point just south of Yamba, are arguably the two most famous breaks along that coast. Why not check them out on a dedicated surfing website?
Note that just about everywhere will be crazy busy - including the campgrounds. Free camping is hard to achieve as well. Have fun - it's a great coast ... fishing (river / rocks / surf) is available most places too.
