Has anyone dove in Kaikoura? We are planning to be in Kaikoura for a couple days around Christmas. My husband has already sent a query to the local dive shop there, but in the meantime, I was hoping to hear from anyone with firsthand experience.
Hi
We are travelling to NZ in Jan/Feb 2008 and are looking for accommodation in Queenstown. Anyone got any good ideas under NZ$200 please?
Also, we are doing most of the South Island and wonder if there is anything "amazing" to do that isn't in the guide books?
Hi. I'm going on a round the world trip, starting in Vietnam (December) and ending in South America (March). I have Malarone to cover me in Vietnam if I decide to take it, but don't have anything sorted out for South America yet. Does anybody have suggestions of where I could go in NZ (perhaps some type of tropical medical place) to get advise and a prescription for anti-malarials? I'll be in Christchurch and Auckland, though I guess the latter would suit me better. I'd prefer not to have to…
Ok, i'm going to take a stab in the dark here but if theres any criminal lawyers who post on here who would like to help out a long time poster please PM me.
Sorry... but I need help to settle a bet here. A friend of mine knows someone from NZ says that there is such a holiday in NZ, is it true?
thanks
Trying to get the mother in law down to Palmerston North from Auckland by air and it seems that Air NZ is the only airline currently doing that route.
Are there any other airlines that do it that I can't seem to find?
thanks :)
I wish to enter with a one-way ticket simply to allow flexibility of choosing my return date. Air Pacific sells one way at half price round trip. But if I 'lock myself' into a return date now, then I pay high fees to change an existing reservation later when I know my true departure date.
The big question is how will immigration respond when I try to enter with a one way ticket?
Any ideas what an 18 year old NZ girl would appreciate from the UK or which things from the UK are considered cool at the moment in NZ? She is a fairly typical 18 year old with no special interests or hobbies other than listening to indie music. Value up to £35/$100.
Cheers!
Hi All,
I was offered a job in New Zealand today. I'm an English molecular biologist, working in the US, with a master's degree in epidemiology. I'm 33-years-old and I have quite a bit of experience, so I'd go over as a skilled individual on a NZ talent visa. The job is at an academic institution, it's not in industry or anything ... so the pace is usually a little slower, I'll get more vacations, and maybe earn a little less, in exchange for a good quality of life.
Here's the question: What's a…
