Hey there. Am an 18 years old female, interested in going on a working holiday to New Zealand. Personally i've never been there before and would most likely be during around March next year to about June or July.

Anyone with experience on a working holiday there ? How's the environment like there ? Also, any recommendations and advices on various locations i can stay at while working or such would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. (:

Hi,
I am on a working holiday VISa in NZ. Things here are preatty good. If you are willing to dirt your hands and work hard,no worries, finding a job won't be too difficult. The paper work is also easy to do although the money is not that good. That life in NZ can be cheap once you work things out a little bit..

If you have any other specific question I'll be happy to help!

Hey.

Thanks for the reply. Would like to ask, usually what sort of work is available there ? I heard during the harvesting season fruit picking is a feasible temp job. Any other options ? I'm pretty willing to try all sorts of jobs around.

Also, i'll most likely be traveling alone, so do you think staying at hostels or such are fine or should i get a farmstay/homestay job ? Thanks for answering. (:

There are two different organisations for working on farms for accommodation and meals, they are WWOOF (willing workers on organic farms) and FHINZ (farm helpers in NZ) just google and you'll get there...
