Hi,

I will be travelling through NZ end of August, beginning of September and I am trying to work out what's best! I've heard about a bus tour but don't know if it is just as easy, and cheaper trying to do it by finding other travellers to share car/ van with? Anybody have any feedback from past trips they can recommend?

The stray bus tour hits all the places I wanna do and see but it's pricey?! I'm doing a RTW so wanna try and keep to a budget but not sacrifice experience?! The decisions one has to make ha!!

Thanks,

Liam

Price the individual trips with either Intercity or Naked Bus and see how it compares. And they both have passes but may not go where you want.

Hmm, my post fell off this earth. Have a look and see where Naked Bus and Intercity go and compare prices. Both also have bus passes that might be worth checking out.

Naked Bus, Intercity. OP, check them out. Passes, routes, fares.

I can't recommend Stray bus enough, the guides and office staff are exceptional. They stop at tons of unique places and I think it is definitely worth the small premium you will pay over an intercity bus pass.

New Zealand is an amazing country and you will have an incredible time however you choose to travel through it.
