Hi All,

I hope some people can help. A friend and I are heading to NZ end of July to try and stick around for the snow season. Were looking to go to Queenstown as according to most reports its the best place to go. I am trying to find out what is the best bet for accomadation. We have been looking at longstays in hostels...has anybody done this before. Is it dooable? Do people tend to group togethere and rent houses for the season? Looking for the cheapest thing going pretty much ;)

Any help at all would be cool.

Heya, some hostels have only a two week max stay period - would pay to do some research in the 'mountain scene' newspaper classifieds - www.scene.co.nz<BR>I stayed two seasons in Queenie a while back - absolutely worth it!!!

bbh is a good start, if you look at the situants vacant part of teh site, you may find hostels willing to give you free accommodation in exchange for two or three hours work each day, good luck!
