Any recommendations on rental car company for February, just on the North Island? Looking for one that's reputable, don't want to spend our vacation dealing with car hassles. But would like to avoid the high price of Hertz and similar. thanks.

Thats relocations and they can come with pretty strict time limitations and destinations. Okay for short trips but if its any length of time, you dont want to be planning around different car rentals.

Is that company reliable? I don´t either want any hassle with car rental.

#1 hasnt used them (or any other company) so cant really recommend them. I've hired from Christchurch and they've been fine.

I have used Omega and they were very efficient and have older cars with more mileage at cheaper rates.
