At what age do young Kiwis start adventure sports....is it part of the school curriculum?

Would like to know out of interest if there are any that just sit around eating Ben and Jerry's watching TV, getting lardy....... ?

many thanks

i feel so deprived

i laughed at your post.
and then realised that I went caving at 11 (is that an adventure sport) and on a big swing and some white water rafting at some point in early high school!!!

Ive been riding the waves on some sort of surf craft for well over 30 years. Have surfed most of Australia, France, Indonesia and Britain. I hate adventure sports by the way, but Ben abd Jerrys is divine...

Just getting to school on the bar of my brother's bike was an adventure, especially after our bridge was washed away. Cheers.

Glad some got the humour.......

For the robotic, personallity-free amounst us: New Zealand is famous for people jumping off things, surfing things, climbing things and god knows what else that would risk their life in search of adventure and make them a better person for it!

PS. I am not a salad-dodger myself, far from it!
