Much of a muchness with Spark and Vodafone. And maybe 2Degrees. Should be coverage maps on their web sites. Anything else you need to know you may be better starting a new post as this is probably a few pages over now.

Never heard that phrases before- I like it! Unfortunatly, I'll need to work while I'm going about trying to enjoy NZ. I think I'll get all 3 and see which one works where. Thanks Mr Wood.

I arrived yesterday and picked up a Vodafone SIM at the airport in Auckland. 500mb data, unlimited texts, 100 minutes all for $19 per month. Top up in any supermarket/grocery store etc. Walking around yesterday I saw plenty of stores advertising Vodafone top-up and when I asked, the lady in Vodafone store said they have 97% coverage across NZ.

Thats not a bad little deal. I see they do the same but with 200 minutes for $29 also.

I wonder if 97% coverage means physical land mass coverage, or 97% of the population coverage. If it's the land mass then that is quite excellent!
