Does anyone know of a relatively cheap (under $3000) car for sale here in Auckland? I've been to the car auction and have looked at postings in hostels, but am trying all angles. Any information? Thanks.

Also, check Trade and Exchange who are apparently really lifting their game at competing with trademe.
The trademe site is also quite good as it has some links to important info such as WOF's, registrations etc.
Final word: check when (if) the cam belt has been changed. Its cheap to change it but freaken expensive if it goes wrong and stuffs up your car. I think it is now recommended you get it changed every 85000km (used to be 100,000km).
