Merry Christmas everybody. I hope those here (Auckland at least) had a Plan B if they intended having a beach picnic-- its been raining quite steadilly for some time now and no sign of letting up.
Oh well, I have to work at any rate.

Thanks Westwood, hope you have an enjoyable day as well. Here in Raymond Terrace it's overcast with more rain forecast but we're not complaining because we need the rain desperately. Lucky we didn't arrange to have Christmas on the beach - that would have been somewhat unpleasant!

Started raining early here in Cairns but turned out to be a lovely day, eggs benedict and champagne brekkie, now heading down to Palm Cove beach for a late afternoon / early evening xmas lunch. Hope you all have a safe and happy Christmas.
