Is it possible to change the bus journey I booked from the end of Milfort Track? Te Anau/Queenstown

Hi! I have the Milford Track booked, including transport from/to Te Anau (it is for February 2015 and now it is all already booked out). I just realised that it would be a lot handier for us if we return from the end of the trek to Queenstown instead of Te Anau. Is it possible to change the bus journey to do that or, if not, to book the single bus journey to Queenstown and loose the other one? It looks like the only way to book transport is as part of a package. Thanks :-)

Lack of information there. Who have you booked with and what do they say?

Thanks westwood. It doesn't matter anymore. I just realised that I have to go back to Te Anau anyway as I would have left my tent in there.

there is of course only one road and the bus will go through Te Anau anyway.

I would think that after the track you'll want just a 2.5 hour bus trip rather than a 5 hour one, and Te Anau is a pleasanter spot than Queenstown in my opinion. You could always move on the next day.
