Fay and I and our two girls (ms 2 and ms5) live in an area outside of Auckland known for it's proximity to vineyards and tremendous nature walks while being close to the city and closer to the beaches on the West coast. It's also central to many of the attractions you'd drive north for and the home is warm, dry, modern and spacious. We also have spare room in our home which we are happy to offer up to the right person in exchange for duties to help keep the house running (eg washing, cooking, cleaning, looking after the girls if Fay and I go out and getting them ready for school).
Fay and I work from home in a company that makes technology solutions for schools and Fay has beaten breast cancer in the last year but her energy levels are still bouncing back after all the treatment and will take a while to do so. The extra help around the house makes sure she's happy and healthy which makes me happy and healthy indirectly too.
You'd have Sunday off, or hours equivalent on Saturday and Sunday.
Generally if nothing needs doing then the time is yours to do what you wish during the week too just so long as you're contactable if something needs doing.
You'd have your own room, be paid pocket money of $500 for month so you can go and do all the sites there are to see and the use of one of our two cars so long as it's not already in use. If you stay with us longer term and things worked out then we'd contribute or pay for your return ticket also.
