just wondering if anyone knows of a reliable, good-value company that delivers luggage etc from NZ to UK? I moved back home recently but left a guitar behind, its too big to post so am trying to get it shipped back. One company quoted me 800 kiwi bucks for it, seemed way expensive so am trying to get it done cheaper if poss.

Although it is too big to post, I'd still be inclined to ask NZ Post what they'd charge to send it. They also handle freight. Maybe whoever has the guitar here in NZ could give their 0800 number a quick call. This might seem a strange suggestion, given that you're sending from NZ to the UK, but the UPS will do it: when I had to send one off items back to NZ from the US, they were the best bet. you could give anglopacific a try... they do shipping between uk and nz. im not too sure if they do air as well but i paid about 260 pounds for 60kg to be shipped from uk to nz through them.
